Our Story
Antoinette Staple-Spigel studied Primary Education and was taught the importance of literacy development in children at an early age. Antoinette, being the mother to a premature baby, born at 25 weeks 4 days with only 1 pound 15 ounces to start life.
She observed an absence of books about prematurity while shopping for premature clothes at numerous places. This has driven her to write a book in two languages: English and Spanish to enhance reading progress and spread awareness.
Admiring her son’s miraculous victory from prematurity, she has developed a passion for babies born prematurely, This has propelled her to become a first-time author to capture her son’s story. By doing so, this will enlighten, encourage, uplift and inspire families and communities around the world.
Antoinette lives in Miami, Florida with her husband Adam and son Helio. She enjoys traveling and aspires to donate as many books as possible to libraries around the world. Her son Helio is “blasting off to greatness”, He is energetic, fun-loving and intelligent.

In those moments, you are forced to confront difficulties and circumstances which will lead you to discover your strength.
Why I Share My Story
I have decided to write my life story because I wanted to share what I have been through to benefit others. More importantly to honor my son’s miraculous victory from being born prematurely.
This is my life story which I hold so dear to my heart and will always tell it with divine gratitude. I have watched my son fight the good fight being born 1 lb. 15 ounces. This magnificent journey will not go unnoticed; God has given me the purpose to share my story with the world.
